How You’ll Make An Impact

The Ontario Regional Sales Coordinator provides a variety of administrative support to the Regional Vice Presidents and Manager of Regional Sales for both Ontario West & East Regions. The incumbent interacts with all levels of the organization, as well as external clients or members of the public to provide information on behalf of the Regional Vice Presidents. In addition, the Regional Sales Coordinator plays a leadership role in promoting and maintaining the image of the Ontario Regional offices and the company as a whole.

Key Accountabilities

  • Administrative Support
  • Provides all aspects of administrative support to the Regional Vice Presidents, Managers Regional Sales and the Ontario regional sales offices.
  • Develops and implements processes to ensure the efficient operation of the regional offices.
  • Responds to internal and external inquiries and requests for information; interprets and explains policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates, organizes and responds to correspondence.
  • Manages the calendars for the RVP’s and MRS’s.
  • Manages electronic and paper records for easy retrieval including operating policies and procedures.
  • Processes invoices, travel arrangements.
  • Reporting
  • Prepares daily, monthly and quarterly reviews for RVP’s and MRS’s.
  • Tracks wholesaler / inside wholesaler activity and prepares monthly reports for the RVP’s and MRS’s.
  • Drafts reports and presentations, including charts, graphs and spreadsheets.
  • Event Planning & Coordination
  • Plans and coordinates meetings and regional events both on-site and off-site (e.g. monthly regional events, regional client events, etc.).
  • Partners with Corporate Events team for national events as necessary.
  • Human Resources
  • Manage all aspects of MAC process
  • New employee set-up, including equipment, phones, credit cards, business cards, etc.
  • Inter-office moves.
  • Computer access changes & terminations.
  • Working Relationships
  • Enhances working relationships by demonstrating interest in day-to-day activities, business goals, departmental issues and concerns of sales team members.
  • Acts as first point of contact for sales team members.
  • Keeps RVPs & MRSs up-to-date about office issues or concerns.
  • Maintains confidentiality of departmental information.

What We Are Looking For

  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in the financial services industry is required.
  • Administrative experience working with senior management is preferred.
  • Completion of CSC/IFIC is an asset.
