Operations Inventory Coordinator (12 month term) at Molycop

Molycop produces Grinding Media for the North American Mining industry at its Kamloops facility located 15km east of Kamloops on Highway 1. Molycop Canada offers industry competitive wages and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Work with internal stakeholders on the implementation and maintenance of a spare parts/inventory system.
- Data entry into ERP and spare parts system.
- Prepare and present inventory reports, including stock levels, turnover rates, and parts usage trends, to assist in decision-making.
- Perform physical counts of inventory and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
- Monitoring and receiving parts on site.
- Working closely with purchasing, receiving department, and other staff to maintain accurate records of inventory and complete tasks.
- Maintain documentation related to MSDS, work orders, inspections, repairs and maintenance.
- Support the Procurement Coordinator in purchasing activities, particularly maintenance supplies and parts procurement.
- Perform a variety of clerical duties including maintenance of inventory related files and records.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 diploma required, post-secondary education is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced manufacturing environment facing constant changing priorities.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software to track, monitor, and optimize parts inventory efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal skills: the ability to develop and maintain relationships.
- Ability to self-monitor or review work to ensure a high level of accuracy.
Expected Salary Range: $60,000-$80,000
