JOB DESCRIPTION
The Warehouse Worker is responsible for performing a variety of tasks such as picking and filling stock orders, packing and shipping, managing, organizing and retrieving inventory, and other general warehouse duties as required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and stock merchandise at the indicated location;
Box, package and display merchandise according to procedures and standards;
Prepare all orders for shipment;
Place and organize merchandise in trucks for delivery to customers;
Record and report any shortages or damaged items;
Operate necessary machinery (e.g. forklift);
Have to do cyclical inventory counts (occasionally);
General cleaning;
Follow all safety guidelines;
Other related tasks may be assigned to meet business needs.
Minimum Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Previous warehouse experience of at least one (1) year (asset);
Forklift operator's certificate (asset);
Physical stamina, manual dexterity and ability to lift loads up to 20kg;
Team spirit, versatility, autonomy and attention to detail;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Willingness and ability to work overtime and weekends, as required.
