We are looking for a Manager, Learning & Development.

As Manager, Learning & Development, you will lead a team of learning and development experts to deliver innovative, effective, and efficient learning strategies that support business goals. You will drive adult education standards, partner with internal stakeholders, and champion continuous improvement in learning strategy and execution of both curriculum and strategic projects. You will also lead the team’s approach to data, analytics, and insights; ensuring learning solutions are measured, analyzed, and continuously improved for maximum impact.

What you will do:

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development for a team of adult education specialists.
  • Support development and implementation of learning strategies and roadmaps in collaboration with business partners.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Support team in execution of learning initiatives both curriculum and stategic.
  • Lead key projects and provide oversight on large initiatives.
  • Develop business expertise, adult education standards, and best practices within the team.
  • Keep current on industry best practices and incorporate them into team strategies, prioritization, and evaluation of learning success.
  • Generate innovative ideas and solutions to meet team and business needs, driving significant improvements in operational performance.
  • Provide quarterly updates to senior leadership and stakeholders on team activities and progress.
  • Model a client-focused, service mindset when working with all business partners and stakeholders.
  • Proactively support and partner with business organizations to execute annual learning roadmaps and individual initiatives.
  • Ensure annual learning strategies and solutions are consistent, effective, and efficient across all impacted parties.
  • Develop processes for assessing the quality and effectiveness of learning programs, including measurement and ROI for business partners.
  • Research, recommend, and implement new learning technologies to support business goals
  • Obtain, understand, and utilize strategic objectives and OKRs to create targeted project outcomes.
  • Leverage the Kirkpatrick Model to develop learning strategies that can measure and quantify those outcomes.
  • Gather metrics/analytics from a variety of business reporting sources to illustrate those outcomes and report them up as required in the project cycle.
  • Summarize final qualitative and quantitative results into a “data story” and present those impacts back to senior level business leaders.
  • Iterate strategies to adapt to those results as required.

What you will bring:

  • A degree, certification, or designation in Adult Learning or proven equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong leadership experience
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of training or learning & development work.
  • Experience leading data, analytics, and insights for learning programs, including gathering metrics and creating data stories.
  • Ability to create measurement solutions that demonstrate the impact of learning on initiatives.
  • Ability to think strategically, creatively, and tactically to ensure learning strategies support business objectives and the learner experience.
  • Ability to build and maintain inclusive, cooperative cross-functional relationships, inspiring the right outcome through partnership and mutual respect.
  • Ability to negotiate, lead, influence, and manage business leadership expectations, including presentation skills at the executive level.
  • Strong organizational skills, working independently in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple deadlines and priorities.

The base salary for this position is between $76,400 - $141,400 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
