Marketing Specialist at DTE
The Marketing Specialist supports DTE’s global commercial activities by executing key marketing tasks across digital channels, events, content, and communications. This role is designed for someone who is hands-on, collaborative, and comfortable working remotely across different functions and time zones. The ideal candidate has B2B experience and can translate technical information into clear, accessible messaging. This position focuses on coordination, execution, and supporting strategic initiatives led by the CCO and senior leadership as DTE introduces an exciting new technology to the aluminum industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Support digital campaigns, social media activity, and basic SEO/analytics.
- Update website content and coordinate with external developers when needed.
- Draft straightforward marketing content, including posts, articles, and internal/external communications.
- Maintain brand consistency and assist in producing brochures, presentations, and visual materials.
- Coordinate logistics for trade shows, conferences, and customer events.
- Support PR efforts by working with agencies, media contacts, and managing event follow-ups.
- Prepare and update sales collateral, maintain CRM content, and gather customer references.
- Track competitor activity and summarize key market trends for internal teams.
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in marketing, preferably in B2B environments.
- Experience in technology, industrial, or scientific sectors is an asset.
- Strong writing and visual content development skills.
- Familiarity with SEO, CRM systems, and social media for business use.
- Experience supporting events or conferences.
- Ability to coordinate external vendors and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Reporting Structure
This role reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and supports the CEO, Product, and Sales teams as needed.
Location & Travel
Remote position across Canada, preferably East Coast (Quebec, Ontario).
Travel (10% - 25%) may be required for trade shows, customer events, and internal workshops.

What We Offer
