We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Business Consultant to support our Technician Field teams' performance through strategic incentives management and performance optimization. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a transformational team that leverages business and financial acumen to drive tangible outcomes while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
As the successful candidate, you'll partner closely with field teams, leaders, sales support, and channel marketing to enhance sales performance and productivity through data-driven insights, incentive program execution, and performance management strategies.


What you’ll do


Incentives Management & Performance Consulting:


You will analyze channel performance metrics and financial data to identify opportunities, forecast trends, and develop both short-term and long-term tactics to achieve TELUS acquisition goals. Your business acumen and attention to detail will be critical as you:


  • Design and execute incentive programs and performance management tools that enable field managers to effectively coach and develop their teams
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and forecasting of sales performance, incentive payouts, and ROI on performance initiatives
  • Analyze granular sales and order data by technician, team, and region to identify performance outliers and trends requiring intervention
  • Leverage industry best practices and cross-channel learnings to optimize incentive structures and performance frameworks
  • Facilitate regular feedback sessions with key stakeholders to gather qualitative insights on program effectiveness and operational challenges
  • Develop segmented enablement strategies tailored to different performance cohorts based on data analysis
  • Provide business intelligence and channel feedback to Marketing, Product & Services, and Operations stakeholders to inform strategic decision-making
  • Monitor budget allocation and financial performance of incentive programs to ensure cost-effectiveness and business impact


Qualifications


What you bring


  • Exceptional communication skills including presentation, written, and verbal communication in a consulting, stakeholder management, and business advisory context
  • Proven business consulting or performance management experience with demonstrated ability to drive measurable results through strategic initiatives and incentive programs
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management, financial forecasting, and analyzing the ROI of performance initiatives
  • Experience designing, implementing, and managing incentive compensation programs or performance-based reward structures
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver results under tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated and proactive problem-solver who can work independently, anticipate challenges, and develop creative solutions with minimal supervision


Great-to-haves


  • A University degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or other quantitative discipline
  • 3+ years of consumer or retail sales experience
  • Familiarity or experience with TELUS consumer products and solutions is an asset

Salary Range: $87,000-$131,000 Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
