Description

Join our team and what we'll accomplish together

Join the Digital Sales & Marketing team at TELUS as we reimagine omnichannel experiences and make digital the channel of choice. We’re creating seamless, personalized journeys that drive engagement, eCommerce growth, and conversion. Guided by a customer-first mindset, we’re unlocking new opportunities for our customers, communities, and team members.

As an L4 Senior Designer on the Creative Studios team, you’ll play a key role in shaping how our customers experience our brand across digital storefronts and go-to-market campaigns. You’ll lead the visual design of high-impact eCommerce initiatives — from product launches and seasonal promotions to ongoing performance marketing content — ensuring every touchpoint is visually engaging, conversion-focused, and unmistakably on-brand.

You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, product, and technology partners to bring offers and experiences to life through thoughtful design that connects strategy with storytelling. This is a hands-on senior role that combines creative excellence, strategic thinking, and operational precision.

What You’ll Do

Design Leadership

  • Drive high-impact visual design for eCommerce and go-to-market initiatives across web and app.
  • Translate briefs and business goals into compelling, conversion-driving creative concepts.
  • Deliver design that balances brand integrity, storytelling, and performance objectives.
  • Oversee creative quality across projects — ensuring every deliverable reflects best-in-class design standards and brand consistency.
  • Mentor mid-level and junior designers, fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Partner with the Creative Director and designers to improve workflows and delivery efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with content writers, product managers, and content managers to deliver frictionless, customer-first experiences.
  • Contribute to creative and marketing strategy discussions, bringing a design perspective to business challenges.

Brand Stewardship & Innovation

  • Uphold and evolve the visual expression of the brand across digital channels.
  • Push creative boundaries through experimentation.
  • Ensure accessibility, inclusivity, and responsiveness are core to every design decision.

Qualifications

You’re the right fit if you have:

  • 6–8 years of experience in digital, eCommerce, or marketing design — ideally with agency and corporate experience.
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates best-in-class digital design, brand storytelling, and conversion-focused creative
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and related design tools.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, UX principles, web accessibility, and the eCommerce customer journey.
  • Proven ability to translate complex offers and messages into clear, visually compelling designs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills — you’re comfortable selling ideas and articulating design rationale to non-design audiences.
  • Experience working in agile or matrixed environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • A growth mindset and a collaborative approach to creative problem-solving.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with A/B testing, personalization, or performance marketing optimization.
  • Interest in how AI and automation can enhance creative workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with video editing and motion graphics creation.
Salary Range: $92,000-$138,000 Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
