We’re seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Manager in BC, Canada to play a pivotal role in optimizing and elevating our supply chain operations across our Canadian branches. In this key leadership position, you’ll guide all aspects of supply chain performance—from inventory strategy to order fulfillment—while driving continuous improvement and strengthening the operational capabilities of both manufacturing plants. Essential Functions
- Responsible for all aspects of Supply Chain, Inventory and Order Fulfillment in both Canadian Branches.
- Directly manage Operations Coordinators in the Surrey location.
- Provides strong leadership to the Operations staff in Surrey, including Plant Supervisor
- Implement and uphold standardized order entry and fulfillment processes.
- Ensure all orders are delivered in full and on time (DIFOT).
- Lead inventory optimization efforts, including the establishment of safety stock levels and inventory control practices.
- Manage and monitor the Freight Shipping Log and Equipment Log.
- Publish metrics for on-time shipments and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for delays.
- Investigate supplier quality issues, manage inventory quarantine processes, report findings to suppliers, and communicate internal action plans.
- Promote a safe and healthy workplace by ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental legislation, as well as internal policies.
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and ethics, adhering to the DSI Spirit (internal ethics policy).
- Participate in additional compliance and ethics training as required throughout the year.
- Accurately maintain standard costs in the ERP system to ensure up-to-date and reliable financial reporting and analysis.
- Lead and ensure cycle counts of inventory are being executed to ensure data accuracy and inventory integrity.
- Identify and evaluate new domestic vendors and monitor the performance and quality standards of existing local suppliers to ensure alignment with company requirements. Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned to support operational effectiveness and continuous improvement
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of ten years’ experience in an operations or supply chain role.
- Extensive experience in a business MIS (SAP, NAV, or similar) is required.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and coordinate internal workflows to meet customer expectations. Must have experience managing people

- Demonstrated strong leadership skills with both office staff and plant personnel, including providing direction and support across varying operational environments.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Analytical and strategic problem-solving capabilities, with the discipline and patience to challenge established thinking and drive positive change.
- Self-starter who is able to work with limited oversight.
- Able to work effectively across disciplines, operating independently or as an engaged member of cross-functional teams.
- Experience with various business systems, including Navision and MS Office, with the capacity to utilize, understand, and optimize different business operating systems.
- Highly resourceful, with attention to detail and the ability to manage and analyze large quantities of data, synthesizing information into meaningful conclusions and business opportunities
- Confidence in providing direction and exhibiting discipline, with a consistent commitment to quality and organizational goals.travel requirements. Travel to suppliers and other DYWIDAG sites in North America is occasionally required

- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, laptop use, etc. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs
