Our Events and Programming Department is looking for a dedicated Booking Coordinator to join the team.
Position Responsibilities
The standard workweek consists of an average of 35 hours, with the specific schedule being determined by the immediate supervisor. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
Compensation
Salary range $29.88 to $38.65 per hour as per the Out-of-Scope Agreement.

Our Events and Programming Department is looking for a dedicated Booking Coordinator to join the team.
Position Responsibilities
- Oversee and finalize all bookings within department facilities utilizing the recreation management software.
- Communicate with user groups to evaluate their requirements and book spaces accordingly, ensuring precision and attention to detail, including timely updates and amendments to contracts.
- Determine the logistical needs for bookings, such as setup and takedown, custodial services, and opening/closing procedures, when necessary.
- Collect and consolidate requirements from SCORES partners and community users of SCORES facilities, ensuring accurate communication and verification of all documentation with School Divisions for invoicing and staffing of school gyms.
- Manage communications between internal and external partners, addressing changes, cancellations, maintenance, and other relevant issues.
- Prepare reports and summaries detailing facility bookings and utilization rates.
- Deliver exceptional customer service on a daily basis.
- Collaborate with the finance department for the monthly reconciliation of booking contracts.
- High school plus up to 2 years post-secondary education in office administration or equivalent.
- 2-4 years administrative experience.
- Conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Advanced data entry experience.
- Microsoft Office experience.
- Time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Class 5 Driver's License.
