The Inventory & Logistics Associate supports Jule Power’s manufacturing operations by ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient material flow, and timely logistics coordination. This role is ideal for a detail-driven, process-oriented individual who thrives in a structured environment and takes ownership of maintaining smooth production operations.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory counts through regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Track incoming and outgoing materials in excel or other inventory systems; investigate discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure raw materials, components, and finished goods are stored properly and labeled correctly.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate reorders to prevent shortages or production delays.
- Support inventory audits and prepare documentation as needed.
- Receive, inspect, and verify inbound shipments against purchase orders.
- Prepare and issue materials to production following established procedures.
- Organize warehouse and production storage areas for optimal accessibility and safety.
- Follow standardized work instructions and maintain strict adherence to quality processes.
- Schedule and coordinate outgoing shipments, including freight, couriers, and customer deliveries.
- Prepare shipping documentation (BOLs, BOM, packing slips, labels, customs paperwork, etc).
- Work with logistics partners and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve transportation issues.
- Track shipments and communicate status to internal teams.
- Adhere to company safety policies, material handling protocols, and manufacturing quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in warehousing, inventory accuracy, and logistics workflows.
- Document standardized procedures and participate in training where needed.
- 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or warehousing (manufacturing environment preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills with a process-driven mindset.
- Proficiency with inventory management or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Odoo, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification is an asset).
- Strong communication skills and reliability in a fast-paced production environment.
