Project Coordinator at M3 Development Management Ltd

Date: 7 hours ago
City: Calgary, AB
Contract type: Full time

M3 Development Management is searching for a Project Coordinator who brings organization, technical strength, and a genuine commitment to excellence. This role is for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, values precision, and is hungry to grow in the development and construction industry.

This isn’t a task-taker role. It’s a hands-on opportunity to support project execution, influence outcomes, and contribute directly to the success of complex development projects across Calgary and beyond.

A Day in the Life:

No two days will ever look the same. As a Project Coordinator, you’ll work alongside M3’s senior project leaders and Project Managers to help deliver development projects of varying sizes and complexity; on time, on budget, and within scope.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  •  Supporting full project lifecycles from planning to close-out.
  • Coordinating drawings, reports, contracts, schedules, and project documentation with accuracy.
  • Preparing agendas, minutes, action logs, and follow-ups to keep projects moving.
  • Providing procurement support, including tendering, proposal requests, and vendor coordination.
  • Maintaining communication flow between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Tracking milestones, risks, costs, and KPIs with strong attention to detail.
  • Assisting with site visits and on-site coordination as required.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance internal processes and strengthen the M3 operating system.

What You Bring:

  • Post-secondary education in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
  • 1–5 years’ experience in construction, development, design, or project management consulting.
  • Familiarity with tools such as MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams), Bluebeam, AutoCAD, PlanSwift, or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • A proactive mindset that sees problems early and closes loops quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability to take direction, work independently, and support multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Project management certifications (CAPM, PMP, PMP-in-progress) are considered assets.

What We're Looking For:

In your application and interviews, we’ll be looking for:

  • How you stay calm, structured, and solutions-oriented in fast-moving environments.
  • Examples of how you’ve solved problems, coordinated deliverables, or supported technical workflows.
  • Moments where you slowed things down, involved the right people, and delivered clarity.
  • Times you met deadlines, managed competing priorities, or learned from mistakes.
  • Your ability to present information clearly, listen thoughtfully, and navigate diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to travel occasionally within Canada for on-site technical support.

Why Join M3?

We believe in culture; and not just because that’s what we “should” say, but because we know it’s what truly sets us apart. We’ve got our eyes set on growth, but in the right way. We know that culture is defined as the worst behaviour we are willing to tolerate.

We are not okay with average. This isn’t just externally with our owners, developers, lenders, and investors – it’s internally with our team members too. We aren’t consultants or advisors – we’re partners who sit squarely in the business of execution ensuring we deliver real results.

In return for your commitment, we offer:

  • A competitive salary aligned with your role and experience.
  • Participation in a performance bonus and profit-sharing program.
  • Excellent time off. We believe in living to work, not working to live.
  • A collaborative, high-performing team that rolls up their sleeves and gets things done.
  • Investment in your growth. Tell us where you want to go; we’ll help you get there.
  • A respectful, inclusive environment that values diversity of thought and professional curiosity.
