About the Role

We are a leading and well-established manufacturing organization in the Hamilton area and are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as an Accounts Payable Administrator & Business Analyst. This unique role blends hands-on accounts payable responsibilities with data analysis, process improvement, and budgeting support. You’ll ensure accurate and timely payments to our vendors while also helping the business make smarter, data-driven decisions.

What You’ll Do

  • Process vendor invoices, match POs, and ensure payments are accurate and on time.
  • Maintain vendor records and resolve payment or invoice discrepancies.
  • Reconcile accounts payable balances and prepare reports for month-end close.
  • Analyze expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support the budgeting process.
  • Prepare variance analyses and monitor actual spend against budget.
  • Collaborate with finance, procurement, and IT to improve processes and implement system enhancements.
  • Use Excel, ERP, and BI tools to generate insights and support decision-making.

What You Bring

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of accounts payable experience, with strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills (BI tools an asset).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
