Facility Services Clerk (internal/external) at Sudbury Catholic District School Board
The Sudbury Catholic District School Board is located in Northeastern Ontario and serves approximately 6,900 students in 17 schools located in Greater Sudbury, as well as in Killarney

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Experience Required:
Two (2) years of recent related experience in a Facilities Department or similar environment
Key Activities
Efficiently coordinates and responds to emergency calls from principals and custodians, as directed by the Manager of Facility Services. Supports the daily replacement of custodial absences and helps other members of the departmental team when necessary. Liaises with external contractors and service providers to ensure seamless collaboration and service delivery
Prepares and organizes, schedules, distributes agendas, and takes minutes at meetings. Duties include file management and clerical support for various programs such as Health and Safety, Community Use of Schools, license agreements, security management, CUPE personnel, work order management, and capital construction project management. Prepares and completes accounting functions, including processing purchase orders and invoices, and performing reconciliations.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Extensive knowledge of office practices and procedures including records management
- Excellent oral communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate and relate to people tactfully, diplomatically and professionally
- Ability to prioritize in a fast paced, high-volume environment
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a cohesive team environment
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, electronic database systems, financial management system, Internet and email
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to research and assemble data for the preparation of correspondence and reports
- Excellent discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to provide regular attendance
