Fleet Support Spec at FedEx Canada
This is an interview position.
To oversee the maintenance of company vehicles and ground support equipment by commercial garages ensuring that fleet requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner and properly reflect corporate standards to provide operators with safe and dependable vehicles.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Accreditations/Certifications/Licenses - Automotive Service Technician, Truck & Coach Technician, Valid Provincial Drivers License
Vehicle Administration - 7 years - preventative maintenance operations on gasoline, diesel and hydraulic automotive-related equipment
Demonstrated basic level proficiency MS Office, Word, Excel (Preferred)
Adobe (Preferred)
Working knowledge of vehicle management information systems - (Preferred)
Knowledge of Canadian /provincial regulation and standards (Department of Transport, Commercial Vehicle Operator Registration, Societe D’Assurance) for multiple jurisdictions
Knowledge of trouble-shooting and diagnosing automotive problems
Customer driven and results oriented
Attention to detail
The ability to focus on our internal/external customers' needs, to demonstrate empathy and enthusiasm, and to give above and beyond service to help customers grow and prosper.
Negotiation Skills
Time Management
Incumbent is expected to travel once per month for approximately three (3) days each trip
Incumbents are eligible for mileage reimbursement
