The Dietitian I - is a frontline professional position within Nutrition Services reporting to the Manager of Nutrition Services, South Zone. You would be responsible for nutrition assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of nutrition care plans for home living, supportive living and adult home enteral clients in Lethbridge. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team in both facility and community settings to achieve nutrition and health outcomes using a patient focused approach Description: As a Dietitian I, you may provide nutrition expertise to patients (clients, residents) in various AHS facilities and community settings to achieve nutrition and health outcomes. You may be responsible for nutrition assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of nutrition care plans. You may plan and provide public health nutrition services and education programs to promote healthy living and disease prevention for clients/groups in facilities or community settings. Nutrition education is provided to students and other healthcare professionals to support delivery of evidence based nutrition information

Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science with a major in Foods and Nutrition. Completion of an internship program or practicum training program accredited by the Dietitians of Canada. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Dietitians of Alberta (CDA) Additional Required Qualifications: Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 2 years' experience as a registered dietitian. Experience with Enteral Nutrition. Experience with home care, supportive living or outpatients. Experience in nutrition counselling for behaviour change. Experience with virtual health applications (MS Teams, Zoom, etc).
