What we expect


Role R
esponsibilities

  • Loading and unloading of vehicles
  • Prepare vehicle for delivery. Verify all items are securely loaded and protected from the elements and all accompanying paperwork is available
  • Operate vehicle to transport material to site & branches
  • Maintain remote communications via telephone; follow instructions and provide status updates
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including documenting daily inspections and ensuring safety equipment, straps and paperwork are in place
  • Follow safe operating procedures. Advise supervisor of potential hazards
  • Accountable for working safely and ensure that all work is conducted in compliance with health and safety policies and legislation
  • Other duties as assigned

Who we are looking for


Role
Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid Class 5 license
  • Clean driving record
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Forklift driver license will be asset
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
