The Service Coordinator (Pest Control) acts as a medium of communication with the residents regarding requests, scheduling and unit treatment.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Ensures that a superior level of co-operation, service and support is provided to residents, thereby ensuring that Timbercreek is a landlord of choice
- Maintains good resident-landlord relations
- Liaising with external contractors
- Inspections of properties/suites on a regular basis
- Receiving treatment requests from the residents
- Scheduling of building cleanouts throughout the portfolio
- Scheduling of individual suite inspections including making and sending out notices of entry and preparation sheets within a reasonable timeframe before the treatment date
- Contacting the residents between treatments regarding follow up dates
- Informing and educating residents on preparation for persistent problems
- Tracking unit treatments
- Issuing of Purchase Orders
- Communication with site teams including proposed clean outs
- Liaising with external contractors and exterminators when necessary
- Reporting of cleanout strategies and results to senior managers
- Working closely with Regional Administrators to manage legal evictions due to lack of cooperation from residents for treatments
- Sustains continual awareness and use of safeguards for all pest control operations to minimize adverse environmental impact
- Observes and identifies common bed bug reports evidence of infestation; cleans work site after completion of job
- Maintain and makes minor repairs to equipment or materials that may be used during the pest control process
Education & Experience:
- Completion of High School or general education degree (GED)
- 1-2 years of administration, customer service, and/or data analytics. Nice to have: Pest control experience
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience with Yardi would be an asset
- Experience in a customer service role would be an asset
- Exposure to the Property Management Industry would an asset
- A commitment to "Best in Class" Customer Service
- A professional demeanor with strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to accurately listen, understand and respond to issues appropriately
- Ability to work and act independently using good judgment when assessing difficult situations
- Exceptionally organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated individual with a “can-do” and “no task is too big or too small” attitude
- A demonstrated high degree of integrity, diplomacy, discretion and confidentiality
