Sompo has a unique opportunity for an Insurance Operations Analyst in our North America Insurance Operations team.

The Operations Analyst will play a key role in driving operational excellence, analyzing workflows, and supporting strategic initiatives to optimize business processes. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments to ensure the smooth functioning of operations.

What you’ll be doing:

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare and present detailed reports to management, highlighting actionable insights.
  
  

Process Improvement

• Evaluate existing workflows and processes to identify areas for optimization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  
  

Operational Support

• Serve as a liaison between departments to facilitate smooth communication and coordination.
• Assist in resolving operational challenges and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  
  

Systems & Tools Management

• Utilize various software tools and platforms to streamline operations and ensure data accuracy.
• Provide training and support to team members on operational systems as needed.
  
  

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks within operational processes.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in an operations, analyst, or similar role.
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a strong asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and ERP systems is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Salary Range: $62,500 – $80,000 CAD. Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.

The total compensation opportunity for all regular, full-time employees is a combination of base salary and incentives that gets adjusted upfront based on overall Company performance with final awards based on individual performance.
