Main Challenges

  • Technical Design and Analysis
  • Design complex mechanical/electrical systems and solve technical problems using CAD (Computer Aided Design) tools and simulation software (REVIT/CAD). Skill/Knowledge in residential, commercial, industrial and/or institutional buildings (an asset).
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Consultation and Communication: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide technical recommendations and present results in a clear manner.
  • Requirements Management: Ensure that client expectations are properly integrated into proposed solutions and manage changes in project scope.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance
  • Quality Control: Establish processes to ensure that designs and deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Research and Innovation
  • Stay informed of the latest technological advances and best practices in the mechanical/electrical field.
  • Continuous Improvement: Propose improvements and innovations to optimize processes and technical solutions.
  • Health and Safety
  • Compliance: Ensure that all designs and practices comply with safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Knowledge of the National Building Code (an asset) Risk Prevention: Identify and assess potential risks in projects and propose solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Graduate studies are an asset
  • 2 to 15 years of experience, ideally in the construction field
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems for residential, commercial, and institutional buildings.
  • Strong proficiency in 3D modeling tools (Revit) an asset
  • Experience in sustainable and eco-friendly construction projects is an asset.
  • Ability to work in both French and English.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
  • Enjoy being involved in all stages of a project.
  • Dynamism, curiosity, and a willingness to push boundaries.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
