Main Challenges
Required Qualifications
- Technical Design and Analysis
- Design complex mechanical/electrical systems and solve technical problems using CAD (Computer Aided Design) tools and simulation software (REVIT/CAD). Skill/Knowledge in residential, commercial, industrial and/or institutional buildings (an asset).
- Client Relationship Management
- Consultation and Communication: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide technical recommendations and present results in a clear manner.
- Requirements Management: Ensure that client expectations are properly integrated into proposed solutions and manage changes in project scope.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Quality Control: Establish processes to ensure that designs and deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Research and Innovation
- Stay informed of the latest technological advances and best practices in the mechanical/electrical field.
- Continuous Improvement: Propose improvements and innovations to optimize processes and technical solutions.
- Health and Safety
- Compliance: Ensure that all designs and practices comply with safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Knowledge of the National Building Code (an asset) Risk Prevention: Identify and assess potential risks in projects and propose solutions.

Required Qualifications
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Graduate studies are an asset
- 2 to 15 years of experience, ideally in the construction field
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems for residential, commercial, and institutional buildings.
- Strong proficiency in 3D modeling tools (Revit) an asset
- Experience in sustainable and eco-friendly construction projects is an asset.
- Ability to work in both French and English.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
- Enjoy being involved in all stages of a project.
- Dynamism, curiosity, and a willingness to push boundaries.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
