We are seeking a highly motivated and detail – oriented business analyst to join our Finance team, based in Saint John, New Brunswick. This role is critical in supporting Investment Tax Credit (ITC) compliance for the organization, with a focus on two major projects. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and can communicate confidently across diverse groups.

This role is critical in supporting Investment Tax Credit (ITC) compliance for the organization, with a focus on two major projects. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and can communicate confidently across diverse groups.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between Finance, Supply Chain and other key groups to ensure alignment on ITC requirements.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of all reporting related to ITC compliance.
- Manage Internal reporting requirements and provide clear, actionable insights to leadership.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain compliance standards.
- Identify process improvement and implement best practices for reporting and documentation
- Respond to inquiries from corporate, operations, and external stakeholders with sound financial analysis and judgment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Accounting/Finance);
- Professional Accounting/Finance designation (CPA, CFA);
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, with exposure to TM1 (Planning & Analytics), Cognos, Tableau and Alteryx considered an asset;
- Strong analytical, leadership, and teamwork skills;
- Adept at working independently, managing change and multiple tasks in small group settings and across diverse groups;
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- High attention to detail, goal oriented and tenacious; able to understand detailed data as well as find meaning in the big picture;
- Comfortable working and interacting with , and presenting and communicating results to senior business leaders;
- Able to manage tight deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment, learn new tasks quickly and demonstrate flexibility when presented with change.
