Essential Responsibilities
- Ownership of mechanical container scope for new product developments and complex project-specific designs.
- Act as main mechanical interface to external container manufacturers to define detail design.
- Generate complete piping & instrumentation diagrams for turn-key containerized solutions.
- Participation in customer project meetings to define scope, align project specifications and define technical solutions.
- Act as main technical interface to BoP component suppliers for definition of component specifications.
- Generate RFQ documentation and support evaluation, validation and ramp-up of new packaging suppliers.
- Development and validation of new technologies targeting new applications, system performance improvements and cost optimizations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related; Master’s Degree and/or additional technical education a plus.
- Stationary gas genset experience required; genset containerization experience preferred.
- Experience in Jenbacher Gas Engines technology a plus.
- Very good knowledge of relevant design codes and tools, preferably experience with CATIA V5 or comparable tools.
- Project management and team leading capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively and strong communication skills.
- High motivation level, self-starter with strong problem-solving capabilities.
