Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment across various roles and locations in Atlantic Canada, including posting, screening, interviewing, onboarding and offboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide recruitment strategy support.
- Maintain job descriptions, requisitions, and applicant tracking documentation.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation activities to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Experience managing a corporate Indeed account and LinkedIn recruiter.
- Support employee relations matters, including assisting with performance discussions and documenting HR-related issues.
- Conduct or support workplace investigations related to policy breaches, misconduct, or other employee concerns.
- Assist with Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) claims, return-to-work programs, modified duties, and communication with case managers.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation to managers and employees.
- Maintain accurate employee files, HR records, and compliance documentation.
- Contribute to HR reporting, policy development, and various HR projects.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of HR experience, including recruitment and generalist responsibilities; experience supporting multiple locations is an asset.
- Experience conducting or assisting with workplace investigations.
- Experience managing WCB claims, modified duties, or return-to-work plans is an asset.
- Knowledge of Canadian employment legislation; familiarity with Atlantic Canada preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in an in-office environment and manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems.
- Experience with immigration-related processes and documentation is an asset.
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Working Conditions
- Full-time, in-office position
