Open Door Group (ODG), a trailblazing non-profit organization serving communities across Canada, is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team!


 


Salary: $33.71 to $35.58 per hour (Grid 36 Health Sciences Association Community Bargaining Agreement)


Status: Part-Time, Permanent


Hours of Work: 18 hours per week (typically 6 hours/day over 3 days)


Schedule: Wednesday to Friday preferred, however some flexibility is required.


Location: This position has a primary work location of the Open Door Group office located at 795 Tranquille Road, Kamloops, and a secondary work location of all Open Door Group sites in the Kamloops area.

Your Role:


The Marketing Coordinator supports Open Door Group’s marketing and community engagement initiatives to increase program awareness, client referrals, and employer partnerships. This role contributes to both digital and in-person marketing efforts, including creating and distributing promotional materials, managing social media campaigns, and coordinating events. The Marketing Coordinator cultivates relationships within service communities, prepares content for diverse audiences, and supports the execution of strategies that highlight ODG’s programs and services. They assist with project scheduling, maintain marketing collateral, and participate in committees, special events, and professional development to ensure effective, current, and impactful outreach.


 


The ideal candidate is a creative and organized marketing professional with a passion for community engagement and relationship building. They excel at developing clear, compelling content for diverse audiences and are skilled in both digital and in-person marketing strategies. Proactive and adaptable, they can manage multiple projects, coordinate events, and maintain strong partnerships to promote programs and services. What you bring to the position:


Qualifications 



  • Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or Social Sciences; and/or equivalent of education and experience  

  • Three years of recent related experience in marketing, sales, communications, public relations or similar 

  • Or acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience  

  • Valid driver’s license and use of motor vehicle  

  • Must maintain a satisfactory criminal record

  • Proficiency in graphic design software, content management systems, and social media platforms.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint) and virtual platforms (Zoom, Teams).
