About the job:
Kent is looking for a Maintenance Procedures and Analyzer Support Specialist with expertise in analyzer troubleshooting, maintenance procedure development, and strong vendor/field interface skills. This role will be seconded into our client’s office in Sarnia, interfacing closely with the owner’s technical teams while employed by Kent.
Skills and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
Instrumentation Technical Support- Troubleshoot analyzer anomalies and instrumentation issues
- Support maintenance investigations and technical responses
- Develop/update analyzer maintenance documentation
- Ensure clarity and compliance
- Liaise with vendors for clarification and issue resolution
- Provide troubleshooting support to field teams
- Maintain troubleshooting logs
- Contribute to weekly technical coordination reports
In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.
Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:
Knowledge/Qualifications/Training/Certification:- Instrumentation technologist diploma or equivalent
- 10+ years of instrumentation/analyzer support experience
- Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills.
- Calm, analytical problem solving
- Effective vendor/field interfacing
