Content & Event Production Associate Specialist (18 months contract) - Hybrid

If so, we want you to join our team! As a Content and Event Production Associate Specialist, you will report to the Sr Marketing Communications Manager responsible for developing the programming plan and recommending program ideas and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing content and program briefs for Canon's internal and external partners.
  • Assisting internal and external partners with delivering and promoting onsite and virtual event activations.
  • Administering and managing programs, including budget oversight, to ensure projects remain within the allocated budget.
  • Supporting the Demand Generation team in creating lead generation content and tools.
  • Maintaining ongoing communication with the Sr Manager and Sr Director regarding current event information and results while offering improvement recommendations.
  • Compiling event and other programs closedown reports, analytics, lead monitoring, measurement, presentation slides, and strategic recommendations to management.
  • Representing the brand at various events and engaging with customers and Brand Ambassadors.

To Succeed, You Will Need

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing
  • Minimum 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to use analytical skills to review event attendance evaluate effectiveness and determine improvement areas and engagement
  • Intermediate project/process management skills to lead events and partnership programs at Canon and ensure the needs to external partners are met
  • Intermediate time management/multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines of external partners and update management
  • Basic computer/technical skills to create dashboard reports and build presentations in PowerPoint.
  • Basic experience with Trello and Oracle
  • Fluency in both French and English is an asset
