We are excited to announce a newly funded position within our Dietetic Rehabilitation Team working within the West of Scotland Region of the Scottish Trauma Network. (Scottish Trauma Network | West of Scotland)

This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside our existing dietetic team, manifesting the ethos of “saving lives, giving life back” The post provides input for patients on the major trauma pathway, working with the major trauma ward, specialist rehabilitation and hyperacute trauma, as an integral part of these multidisciplinary teams. This is a fast-paced clinical environment requiring emotional intelligence and resilience to discuss sensitive information in a complex patient group

As a practitioner you will have the opportunity to significantly influence patient progress and outcomes, from the acute phase of injury through to the rehabilitation phase. This role works collaboratively with other health professionals across the West of Scotland network, acute and community services. There is a strong quality improvement focus across the teams with regular contributions to national training and initiatives. We actively encourage participation in service development, including quality improvement projects.

This post requires B.Sc. Dietetics, HCPC registration and post-graduate clinical experience in both acute and rehabilitation environments as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team.
