Sensorium Experience Guide at Sensorium Health

Date: 1 day ago
City: North Vancouver, BC
Contract type: Part time

Sensorium is opening in January 2026 as North America’s first immersive wellness dome—merging spatial sound, chromotherapy, vibroacoustics, and multisensory design to create deeply restorative experiences. We are looking for compassionate, grounded individuals interested in wellness and healing spaces to join us as Sensorium Experience Guides, an integral role in shaping the emotional tone and guest experience of our space.

This is more than a support role—it’s an opportunity to grow alongside an emerging organization at the intersection of art, neuroscience, and wellbeing.

About the Role

As a Sensorium Experience Guide, you will be the welcoming presence that greets guests, supports facilitators, and ensures each session unfolds with care, clarity, and calm. You will help hold the energetic container of the experience—transitioning guests in and out, preparing the environment, and gently supporting guests as needed.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that values compassion, presence, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome guests and guide them through the space.
  • Prepare the dome and open studio for sessions (mats, pillows, bolsters, blankets, props).
  • Read and follow session setup instructions (introducing the session).
  • Offer grounding, supportive presence during transitions and after sessions.
  • Provide client care—listening, answering questions, offering gentle reassurance when needed.
  • Support safe transition through entry, experience, and integration phases.
  • Maintain a clean, organized environment before and after sessions. Light cleaning duties.
  • Manage the water & tea station (refilling, tidying, sanitizing).
  • Assist facilitators in session flow and logistics.
  • Communicate observations, guest needs, and operational improvements to the team.
  • Participate in an evolving culture of learning and refinement as Sensorium grows.

Who You Are

  • You have experience in wellness environments such as yoga studios, meditation centers, retreats, or therapeutic spaces.
  • You are grounded, calm, warm, and naturally people-centred.
  • You enjoy creating environments where others feel safe, supported, and welcomed.
  • You are attentive to detail and enjoy the ritual of arranging and setting up welcoming spaces.
  • You are comfortable holding presence for groups and supporting guests who may need attention and grounding.
  • You work well collaboratively with practitioners and facilitators.
  • You are excited to grow with a new organization and contribute ideas to enhance the experience.
  • You approach your work with sincerity, kindness, and integrity.
