We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to support our Global operations. This role combines accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general accounting responsibilities. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, support HR/payroll activities for all locations, and play a key role in ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.

- Enter and process vendor invoices in the ERP system.
- Review and process employee expense claims, verifying approvals and documentation.
- Manage vendor payments and assist with account reconciliations and vendor statement reviews.
- Support payment runs in coordination with the Assistant Controller.
- Issue customer invoices and apply payments accurately.
- Maintain AR aging reports (NET 60–90) and monitor collections.
- Work with the Sales Team to support payment processes and resolve outstanding issues.
- Manage chargebacks, claims, and unapproved transactions.
- Amazon (ADF): apply payments, upload RMAs, and investigate discrepancies.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Merchant reconciliations (Shopify, Braintree, PayPal, Klarna, Moneris).
- Support inventory accounting (COGS postings, adjustments) and fixed asset tracking.
- Prepare reconciliations, schedules, and accruals for Assistant Controller review.
- Assist with expense coding and financial reporting.
- Accurately record expenses associated with in-house production
- Provide accounting-related HR/payroll support
- Post-secondary education in Accounting or related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable; multi-currency experience is an asset.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with ERP and accounting systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, sorting, filtering, data analysis).
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook).
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset with initiative to improve processes.
- Dependable, results-driven, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Positive, professional, and accountable in approach.
