Responsibilities For University Campus Security Guard

• Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
• Manage access control of entry ways and exit points using equipment at your disposal
• Perform regular Site patrol with G-track device, locking and unlocking building, investigating and reporting incidents and hazards
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Maintain a safe and secure environment
• CCTV cameras monitoring and operation.
• Assist site staff and visitors to ensure safe and secure environment
• Monitor and control special events crowd traffic and room access
• Take actions during emergency situations as per Garda world and USB protocols
• Complete Daily reports and Incident Reports.
  
  

Qualifications For University Campus Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Manitoba security license
• First aid certification an asset
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
• Bilingual (fluency in written and Verbal French and English)
• Leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a stressful environment
