Personal Cook

Our client is an adult woman, living with mental health challenges in Central Ottawa. Our primary focus of care is meal preparation. We are seeking someone who can provide a nurturing and supportive adult caregiving experience, with strong instincts to ensure the clients safety and well-being at all times. The ability to learn and adapt to the clients specific preferences, while maintaining a high level of attentiveness, is essential.

You would be the ideal candidate if you are compassionate, reliable, and adaptable. Someone who takes pride and initiative in creating a safe, supportive, and caring environment tailored to the clients needs.

Requirements:

• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
• Smartphone with a data plan
• Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the last 6 months
• Meal preparation experience & competency in this area is required
  
  
  

Assets:

• Post Secondary education or strong personal experience
• Imperative to have a high sense of awareness & attention to detail
• Experience working with individuals living with Trauma/PTSD (Mental health).
  
  
  

Hours:

7.5 - 12.5 hours weekly

Rate of Pay:

$28/hour
