Freelance Interior Designer at Twine

This role involves providing expert interior design guidance for a main floor home renovation in Vancouver, covering the kitchen, bathroom, addition of a new bathroom, and window replacements. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the homeowner to develop renovation plans that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The project is short-term, expected to take one to two days, with the possibility of additional follow-up work. Flexibility to work in a hybrid format and the ability to travel to Vancouver if required are essential.

Responsibilities

• Consult with the homeowner to understand renovation goals and preferences
• Develop design concepts and space plans for kitchen, bathrooms, and window replacements
• Provide recommendations on materials, finishes, and fixtures
• Prepare sketches, mood boards, or digital renderings as needed
• Advise on layout optimization and functional improvements
• Coordinate with contractors or suppliers if necessary
• Ensure design solutions align with budget and timeline constraints
