We are currently looking for an incredibly capable and passionate, Toronto based individual to join our North American sales team as the Business Development Representative.

Responsibilities and Deliverables
- Responsible for researching, seeking, qualifying, nurturing and handing over relevant opportunities to the sales team
- Actively grow Upstream Works active “universe” of relevant contacts that you will aim to convert into qualified opportunities for our sales team and ensure you are maintaining a highly accurate data set within Microsoft Dynamics
- Drive attendance and awareness of product releases, webinars, trade shows and the like into a relevant and researched marketplace
- Involvement at qualification to sales handoff points to ensure a smooth transition into our sales team with every client contact
- Provide coverage to sales people regarding quoting the UWS solution and following up on those quotes
- Acting as a sales support function when required by the sales team
- 2+ years’ experience building relationships and qualifying opportunities to end user customers and VAR/ SI/ Consulting partners, within enterprise software preferably within the contact center industry
- The ideal candidate will have “set up” a business development capability within a previous role
- Highly organized with ability to multitask, prioritize time while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills across a broad range of industries dealing with a global market
- A good understanding of analyzing data
- A good understanding of sales and marketing automation tools – The ideal candidate would be proficient in both Salesloft and Microsoft Dynamics and be capable of both designing campaigns and concepting new messaging
- Strong background in contact center software – Ideally enterprise omnichannel and integration software would vastly shorten your time to effectiveness within this role.
- Experience in the contact center industry is a huge advantage
- Hybrid position - Candidates ideally located within an easy commute of our HQ (Woodbridge, Ontario)
