IREN is currently looking for a Project Scheduler to join our Construction Team. We’re seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced, complex environments and enjoys supporting teams to deliver world-class, sustainable data center projects on schedule and within budget.
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in project scheduling for construction or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project.
- Familiarity with design-build and EPC project delivery models.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and project documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in data center, industrial, or mission-critical projects is an asset.
Job responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project schedules for all phases of construction — from planning through commissioning.
- Work closely with the Construction Manager, Superintendents, Engineers, and procurement department to capture and update progress across all disciplines.
- Identify schedule risks, opportunities, and critical path impacts; provide mitigation recommendations to project leadership.
- Support weekly and monthly reporting cycles with updated schedules, look-aheads, and variance analyses.
- Track subcontractor progress, ensuring alignment between field execution and the master schedule.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and commissioning teams to ensure milestone accuracy and schedule realism.
- Support schedule integration between multiple project streams (civil, electrical, mechanical, structural, and IT).
- Prepare visual and analytical schedule reports using industry-standard tools (Primavera P6 or MS Project).
- Support change management processes by analyzing schedule impacts of proposed scope adjustments.
- Participate in progress meetings and contribute to proactive planning discussions.
