The firm is seeking an associate level architect with strong leadership capabilities and extensive experience in large scale mixed use and multifamily residential projects, particularly high rise concrete buildings. This person will oversee major project scopes, guide both design and delivery, and ensure studio wide standards of quality, clarity and coordination.
You will work closely with partners, lead teams across all phases, support client relationships, and maintain a cohesive design and technical vision through to construction.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead major mixed use and high rise residential projects from early concept through construction
- Guide teams, structure workflows and ensure project clarity and consistency
- Oversee consultant coordination and maintain strong, proactive communication with all disciplines
- Represent the studio in client meetings with confidence, clarity and professionalism
- Uphold design intent while ensuring technical rigor, constructability and documentation quality
- Support rezoning, development and building permit submissions
- Participate in site meetings and contribute to construction phase services including RFIs, shop drawings and field reviews
- Mentor intermediate and junior staff and foster a supportive, inclusive team dynamic
- Collaborate closely with partners on project strategy, direction and decision making
- Contribute to office standards, studio culture and long term practice growth
- Registered Architect with the AIBC
- Extensive experience leading large scale mixed use and high rise multifamily projects
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to guide, mentor and inspire teams
- Deep understanding of project delivery from concept through construction
- Skilled in consultant coordination with strong communication and relationship skills
- Advanced understanding of BCBC, VBBL and municipal processes
- Proficiency in Revit and a strong technical foundation in concrete construction
- Ability to balance design aspirations with technical and delivery realities
- Organized, proactive and committed to high quality work and collaborative practice
