As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing complex projects and the deployment of Caterpillar mining technology products. You will follow classic project management methodology, and your key responsibilities will be the development of scope documents, project plans, and schedules as well as monitoring progress whilst navigating issues and risks. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in commercial proposals and supporting the contract management of MineStar implementation services.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies ranging from complex applications that drive productivity to fully autonomous vehicles operating on both the surface and underground environments. What You Will Do:
Industry Knowledge: Direct experience in mining operations is essential. Must understand site-specific workflows, communicate effectively with field teams, and design technology solutions that are rugged, reliable, and sustainable in high-stakes environments.
Project Management Demonstrated project management experience working with technology, from initiation to delivery, including scheduling, resource allocation, and reporting. Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational, tactical, and strategic planning in support of the overall business plan.
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Effective Communications: Effective Communications, Collaborating and Problem-Solving skills.
Business Development: Knowledge of business development tools, techniques and approaches; ability to explore and develop potential areas of business growth for the organization.
Additional Information:
This position requires the candidate to work full-time in the Edmonton, AB office.
Occasional travel up to 20% may be required.

Summary Pay Range:
$106,000 - 132,000
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.

- Lead the execution of small to medium-scale technology implementation projects.
- Align, lead, plan, and manage resources for implementing project activities; own and manage input to the Implementation Project Plan.
- Understand trade-offs to maintain enterprise perspective and customer focus while planning and executing activities supporting implementation projects.
- Participate in quoting and collaboration on tender responses.
