This role combines the oversight of human resources functions with strategic initiatives aimed at fostering organizational growth and enhancing employee development. The individual will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive HR strategies, managing various programs, ensuring legal compliance, and driving organizational change and performance improvement. This includes the management of the Human Resources Coordinator position.

Responsibilities

HR Strategy and Leadership: The Manager will develop and implement our overall HR strategy, providing advice to management. They will partner with senior leaders on talent management and organizational goals, ensuring our HR practices align with the company's business objectives.

Program Management: This role involves overseeing and managing a range of HR programs, including compensation, benefits, recruitment, performance management, and employee onboarding. The Manager will ensure these programs are effectively administered and meet the needs of our workforce.

Organizational Development: The Manager will design and implement initiatives to drive growth, such as training programs, succession planning, and cultural transformation. These initiatives aim to improve employee engagement and productivity, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

• Legal Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws, health and safety regulations, and equity standards is essential. The Manager will ensure our commitment to legal and ethical standards in all HR practices.

Employee Relations: Fostering a positive work environment and promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within the company are critical. The Manager will work to build a culture of respect and collaboration, supporting our employees' well-being and development.

Labour Relations: Coordinating collective bargaining, ensuring Labour management best practices, facilitating the grievance process, complying with relevant policies and collective agreements.


Qualifications

• Completed Post Secondary Education in a related field

• Minimum 7-10 years of Human Resources experience with at least 5 years of management experience

• CPHR Designation

• Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing HR strategies, managing HR programs, and supporting organizational change.

• Experience in labour relations

• Proficiency in Human Resources Information Systems, Microsoft tools, and analytics

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
