About Us
The Shoreline Power Group is a fully integrated Joint Venture of Aecon and Atkins Realis located in Kincardine, Ontario. Shoreline Power Group is the centerpiece of the Major Component Replacement (MCR) program which replaces the main components at the Bruce Power Nuclear Generating Station. The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of calandria tubes, pressure tubes, and feeders as well as construction management and trade labor. This project is part of Bruce Power’s Life Extension Program, which will allow Bruce Power’s CANDU units to continue to operate safely through to 2064.
Under the direction of the Onboarding Manager, the Onboarding & Training Administrator will work with the onboarding team to ensure the workforce is qualified for their position by completing required administrative activities promptly and accurately.
The Onboarding & Training Administrator role is responsible for the creation and maintenance of all training qualifications and personnel records in both the Aecon and clients LMS (Learning Management System) to support the joint venture projects at the Bruce Power site.

What You'll Do Here
- Develop and prepare new hire material
- Use Learning Management Systems (client and internal) to upload course credits
- Prepare, submit, and follow up on qualification documentation to ensure accuracy and completion
- Extract weekly reports and provide data to management team and analytics group
- Assist with training audits, cbt (computer based training) resets and credit verifications
- Establish and maintain a data integration process between Bruce Power and Aecon LMS
- Assist with nuclear onboarding training coordination and qualification maintenance for new and existing project employees
- Support new hires to complete required documents
- Support training instructors as required to facilitate activities with large groups
- Create and schedule internal training courses and notify attendees and guest speakers
- Complete activities related to profile creation, onboarding and offboarding of joint venture employees
- Other duties as assigned
- Experience with Success Factors and or TIMS Learning Management System would be considered an asset.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Extremely organized and detail oriented
- Problem solving, planning and organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, work to tight timelines
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills in communicating with a large team (both oral and written)
- Maintain a high level of accuracy within job functions
