Seeking an Canadian Patent and Trademark Agent to support its growing technology and cross-border practice. This role involves advising clients on corporate, commercial, IP, privacy, and cross-border matters, with exposure to both Canadian and U.S. legal issues.

Responsibilities

• Advise technology and emerging-growth clients on cross-border legal matters
• Draft and review commercial agreements and corporate documents
• Support IP, privacy, and regulatory compliance matters
• Work with startups, investors, and venture capital funds
• Collaborate with lawyers licensed in multiple jurisdictions
  
  

Qualifications

• Registered Canadian Patent and Trademark Agent
• Experience or strong interest in technology, startups, or cross-border work
• Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and client-service skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment
