Acadia Broadcasting has an exciting opportunity for you to join our Halifax Team as an Advertising Consultant, representing our local brands of Surge 105, Hot Country 103.5, RoundTable, and a soon-to-launch product!

In this new role, you’ll provide cutting edge marketing strategies to local businesses through radio & digital advertising solutions. If you’re not afraid to knock on doors, meet new people, learn the stories behind local businesses, and offer guidance to help them grow and succeed - we want to hear from you.

• Proactively pursue new business opportunities, building lasting partnerships that support community and client success.
• Build and maintain meaningful, long‑term relationships with clients.
• Develop creative, customized marketing solutions that address client needs.

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of account receivables.

What We Are Looking For

• A friendly, engaging individual who excels at relationship building.
• Experience in marketing, media, and/or digital sales (an asset).
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• A competitive spirit and desire to succeed.
• Tech‑savvy, with comfort using social media platforms such as LinkedIn.
• Post‑secondary education in sales or marketing (an asset).
• A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (required).
  
  

Please note that this is a hybrid position and is expected that the incumbent resides in-market.
