Innovate and Lead – In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of commercial strategy for transformative transportation projects. From rail & transit, to marine, ports, and aviation, you’ll shape agreements that drive success and sustainability. The Opportunity
Innovate and Lead – In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of commercial strategy for transformative transportation projects. From rail & transit, to marine, ports, and aviation, you’ll shape agreements that drive success and sustainability. Reporting to the Director, Commercial & Risk Management, you’ll collaborate with senior leadership and project teams to deliver commercial excellence on major infrastructure initiatives.
Your Impact
- Manage and negotiate complex contractual agreements for rail, transit, ports, marine coastal, aviation, and fleet projects.
- Provide strategic commercial oversight to ensure corporate and project objectives are achieved.
- Draft, review, and administer agreements including teaming, joint ventures, and subconsultant contracts.
- Support bid teams with risk reviews, commercial strategy, and internal approvals for major proposals.
- Lead negotiations on high-profile projects and guide teams through critical commercial decisions.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to developing best practices in commercial management.
- 5–10+ years of experience in commercial or contract management within transportation or infrastructure sectors.
- Post-secondary education in project management, construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, finance, or business.
- Proven expertise in Design-Bid-Build (DBB) and Design-Build (DB) delivery models.
- Ability to navigate complex negotiations and deliver outcomes aligned with business objectives.
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and commercial governance processes.
- Adaptability to manage deadlines, ambiguity, and competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
