Job Description & Requirements
- Please note: term of employment is as stated above OR return of incumbent.
We are seeking a qualified teacher who must possess.
- A Manitoba Teacher's Certificate, or eligibility for teacher certification in the Province of Manitoba.
- A strong academic background and previous successful early years teaching experience, preferably in Kindergarten.
- Demonstrated ability to teach and differentiate instruction for students in the Kindergarten classroom.
- Demonstrated ability in differentiated instruction and activity-based learning to meet the needs of all learners.
- Knowledge and understanding of teaching literacy through the curriculum.
- Knowledge and understanding of and ability to implement play-based learning.
- Knowledge and understanding of inclusion of technology in learning processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as an effective member of a team in delivering a quality program.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess:
- A strong background in language development.
