Riipen is recruiting Student Ambassadors to represent Riipen’s Lab, LevelUp and FuturePath programs across priority campuses in different regions.
As a Student Ambassador, you will play a key role in increasing student awareness, engagement, and sign-ups for Riipen Labs between January & March 2026. This is a part-time role (20 hours per week for 3 months).
This is a paid, short-term field marketing role ideal for students who are well-connected on campus, comfortable speaking with peers, and interested in marketing, community building, or career development initiatives.
This role is fully remote and open to candidates in Alberta.
The hourly rate for this position is $23 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
As a Riipen Labs Student Ambassador, you will:
- Promote Riipen’s student programs on campus through:
- Campus events and info sessions
- Outreach to student clubs
- Peer-to-peer conversations
- Promoting programs in high traffic areas through posters & flyers
- Distribute Riipen Labs branded materials using your unique UTM QR code to drive and track sign-ups
- Host or support small on-campus info sessions to educate students about Riipen Labs and how to participate
- Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for students, answering questions and directing them to the Riipen platform
- Provide twice weekly activity updates and lead metrics, including outreach efforts and sign-ups generated
- Represent the Riipen brand professionally and enthusiastically on campus
Each ambassador will receive a complete on-campus activation kit, including flyers, handouts, banner, sweatshirt, and swag items.
All materials will be provided, along with onboarding and training to ensure ambassadors feel confident representing Riipen Labs.
Performance Tracking
- Each ambassador will use their unique UTM QR code across all flyers and cards
- Sign-ups and engagement will be tracked twice weekly
Performance data will be used for reporting and program evaluation
You may be a good fit if:
- Are currently enrolled at a post-secondary institution (this is a MUST and proof of enrolment will be required)
- Are well-connected and active on campus
- Have previous sales experience
- Enjoy talking to peers and promoting opportunities
- Are organized, reliable, and comfortable tracking your activities
- Are very self motivated and thrive on driving results
- Have an interest in marketing, communications, entrepreneurship, or career development
