- Business Administrator
- GWM Internal Control and Regulatory Affairs Intern
- Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of your respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations.
- Provide customer service in accordance with Scotia Service Standards.
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Provides exceptional customer service support on account opening related queries by remaining current and informed on existing and new industry regulations and firm policies and procedures.
- Maintain client account integrity by performing sundry items as required.
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Contribute to a high-performance, inclusive work environment.
- Provide coverage and support for other members of the team when needed.
Do you have the skills and requirements that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if:
- You are enrolled in post-secondary education.
- You enjoy being involved in extracurricular activities such as conferences, clubs, and competitions.
- You are able to provide reliable and timely responses professionally to direct inquiries from advisors, trading desk, other broker/dealers, various operations and support departments and management.
- You have strong communication and organizational skills.
- You have thorough business analysis, analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- You have strong written and verbal skills required to prepare communications and interact effectively with other Bank departments and external parties.
- You have excellent time management skills.
- You have thorough PC skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- You’ll be part of a diverse, collaborative, innovative, and high-performing team.
- In-depth training to prepare you for the role, as well as ongoing coaching and feedback to help you succeed!
