Medical Officer of Health/Chief Executive Officer at Thunder Bay District Health Unit

Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) currently has an opportunity for an executive leadership role as its Medical Officer of Health (MOH) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The MOH/CEO reports to an autonomous Board of Health that has a rich history of public health service in Ontario. This position is an integral member of the local health community, working closely with engaged and supportive local governments, First Nations and Indigenous organizations and communities, hospitals, health agencies, police, schools, and the social service sector delivering provincial public health standards, addressing local issues – protecting and promoting population health.
