Purpose
The Inbound Receiver will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality and standard on all products received in the warehouse. This includes routine quality checks on all incoming products, efficiently loading and unloading products in the warehouse, complete audits and inventory counts to ensure proper management of inventory and stock levels, and more.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine quality checks on all incoming products to ensure the highest quality and standard on all products received
- Efficiently load and unload products in receiving area
- Organize, arrange and move product in the warehouse
- Check deliveries to verify piece count and mark products with appropriate labels
- Complete daily and monthly audits and inventory counts to ensure proper management of inventory
- Efficiently coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless activities throughout the warehouse operations
- Collect information and accurately record data as needed
- Complies with Sysco's Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.
- Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
- Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Schedule
- Fix-term Contract - 6 months
- Full-time
- Split days off
- Weekend as require. Overtime as required
- Shift time 10:00 a.m. - 06:30 p.m.
Skills
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy when selecting and staging orders.
- Safety Awareness: Strong awareness of safety procedures and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach frequently.
- Frequent twisting, bending and repetitive lifting of up to 50+ lbs throughout work shift.
- Standing for the whole duration of the work shift.
- May be required to operate power equipment.
