Your Opportunity:
In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
Description:
As a Respiratory Therapist I, you will assess patients (clients, resident), develop and implement respiratory therapy care plans and monitor their progress. You will be responsible for various diagnostic and therapeutic equipment and interventions. You will collaborate with various clinical teams and groups to enhance clinical outcomes. You will provide training and assist health care providers in the use and care of respiratory equipment as well as educate patients and their families regarding diseases, medications, equipment and treatments.
Classification: Resp Therapist I Union: HSAA Facility PROF/TECH Unit and Program: Unit 25, Respiratory Primary Location: Grande Prairie Rgnl Hospital Location Details: As Per Location Multi-Site: Not Applicable FTE: 1.00 Posting End Date: 31-DEC-2025 Employee Class: Regular Full Time Date Available: 10-JAN-2026 Hours per Shift: 11.08 Length of Shift in weeks: 8 Shifts per cycle: 28 Shift Pattern: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends, On Call Days Off: As Per Rotation Minimum Salary: $38.39 Maximum Salary: $49.34 Vehicle Requirement: Not Applicable
Required Qualifications:
Active or eligible registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA).
