Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and community-connected High School Associate Student Recruitment & Marketing Manager to expand our presence in the Canadian local market and international market. This role focuses on relationship-building, outreach, and promotional strategies, including establishing networks, engaging communities, and driving student recruitment through trust-based connections.

The ideal candidate is energetic, persuasive, culturally aware, and passionate about education and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

High School Student Recruitment (Primary Function)

  • Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies targeting both domestic Canadian high school students (Grades 9–12) and international students within the school’s key markets.
  • Actively identify and reach out to prospective domestic Canadian students and international applicants through personalized communication, community outreach, global partnerships, and focused digital engagement.
  • Proactively build and maintain strong partnerships with local feeder schools, community leaders, educational consultants, as well as international agents, overseas schools, and global partners to expand the school’s visibility both locally and internationally.
  • Initiate and participate in domestic recruitment campaigns, local school fairs, community-focused events, and international student recruitment fairs or virtual global outreach activities to support enrollment growth in both markets.
  • Liaise with faculty, staff, and students to involve them in the admissions process and ensure their participation in both domestic and international recruitment events and initiatives.
  • Meet or exceed the annual admission targets for both domestic Canadian and international student cohorts while ensuring strong lead retention and conversion of new applications.

Deep Community Outreach & Grassroots Marketing

  • Identify and activate both local and international community networks to increase brand visibility and strengthen the school’s presence in key domestic and global markets.
  • Build partnerships with local cultural groups, youth organizations, community influencers, as well as international community associations, cultural organizations, and global student networks.
  • Coordinate community events—both locally and internationally (virtual or in-person)—to drive awareness and promote our programs to diverse audiences.
  • Develop localized and internationalized marketing initiatives and culturally tailored messaging to effectively engage diverse domestic and global communities.
  • Conduct door-to-door outreach (when appropriate), phone outreach, or community canvassing-style activities for local campaigns, while supporting international outreach efforts through digital engagement, virtual fairs, and overseas partner activities.

Marketing & Promotion

  • Lead marketing planning, drive content creation, and execute promotional campaigns.
  • Design event posters, social media posts, and newsletters.
  • Manage digital marketing initiatives, including targeted ads and community-based campaigns.
  • Analyze market trends, student interests, and community behaviour to refine messaging.

Administrative & Reporting

  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on recruitment progress and outreach outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of school partnerships and community networks.
  • Coordinate logistics for events, presentations, and marketing campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and public-speaking skills.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian local culture, community dynamics, and youth environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in outreach, recruitment, or grassroots marketing.
  • Experience in education, student services, political campaign outreach, or nonprofit community work.
  • Experience in event planning or marketing content creation.
