Housekeeper (7X7) at Bullitt Staffing Inc

Position Title: Housekeeper

Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off

Compensation: $22/hr + daily overtime (after 8 hours)

We are seeking a reliable Housekeeper to join our client’s remote mine-site camp located near Fort Frances, Ontario. Work hours are 12 hours a day, Monday to Sunday (7 days on, 7 days off). Rate is $22/hr plus OT after 8 hours. A personal vehicle is required to travel to the location. Mileage will be reimbursed at $0.50/km. Camp accommodations, meals, uniforms, and PPE are provided. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term opportunities. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across dorm rooms and common areas, performing laundry duties, and managing waste disposal.

We prefer a candidate who is currently not working and is available to start on December 29.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean assigned dorm rooms: change bedding, wash floors, vacuum carpets, clean washroom fixtures, dust and sanitize surfaces (phones, TVs, heaters, doorknobs, remotes, light switches), restock paper products, and remove garbage.
• Identify and report potential fire hazards or maintenance issues.
• Clean common areas including the gym, TV room, games room, boardrooms, offices, hallways, washrooms, locker rooms, laundry rooms, lobby, boot rooms, smoke shacks, and clinic.
• Perform laundry duties: wash linens and PPE, stock cleaning carts and janitor rooms, and fill water bottles.
• Vacuum and dust room furnishings and blinds, including hallways.
• Collect and remove garbage and recycling from all sleeping areas.
• Follow time-management and task-completion guidelines as set by the Lead Housekeeper.

Requirements

• Ability to work a 7/7 schedule.
• Must pass reference checks, medical clearance, and a criminal record check.
Valid Driver's License
