We are looking for a dedicated Repair Planner to be an integral part of the daily operations at our Aviva AutoCare Centre located in Mississauga.

In this role, you will be responsible for handling moderate to complex physical damage appraisals, assesses damage and completes re-inspections for quality assurance while providing exceptional customer service. Act as a technical resource for Estimators. The Repair Planner understands the repair process in more details and conducts deep dive assessment on the repair procedures.

What You’ll Do

  • Examines damaged vehicles to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage
  • Completes appraisals and determines proper repair methods and pricing
  • Monitors daily productivity of all assignments and corresponding records
  • Monitors progress and completion of vehicles in the shop ensuring proper repair and safety procedures are followed
  • Control the method and cost of repairs to vehicles by using established industry regulatory practices and corporate guidelines
  • Complete Total Loss evaluations through market and Autosource search
  • Complete remote appraisals
  • Make decisions that positively impact the site and the customer
  • Promote Aviva AutoCare Centre values and goals

What You’ll Bring

  • Post-secondary education
  • Minimum 5 years auto estimating experience
  • Repair planning experience
  • Experience within the automotive repair industry
  • Excellent customer service skills combined with outstanding communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong knowledge of automotive/equipment preventative maintenance, refurbishment and repair practices and procedures
  • Demonstrates adaptability and openness to change with a proactive mindset in embracing new work practices and technologies
  • Proficiency using body shop management systems; knowledge of Body Shop Connect preferred
  • Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to an environment of continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Detail oriented with an emphasis on Quality control
  • Ability to take direction and perform well under pressure
  • Strong awareness of safety practices and procedures

What You’ll Get

  • The salary band for this position ranges from $80,000 to $95,000. Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
