As a Part-time Team Lead, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as security operation centres, call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc. If you have prior team lead experience, and enjoys working in night shifts, then this is the job for you !

Responsibilities For Team Lead

• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Leading the Security Guard team, post and duty rotations and ensure all posts are covered.
• Ensure Security Guard team rotates thru breaks and lunches. (Post/Break/ Schedule lunch schedule)
• Orientation/ training new Security Guards
• Conduct 1 weekly Security Audit of their Team. (includes Seal test, Alarm Response, Coat and Parcel and ID Screening check)
• Garda Schedule validation (prevents billing errors)
• Pape Audit- Audit Security related tasks. (Monthly)
• SG Coaching- 1st initial discussion. Conversations concerning lateness, uniform issues, errors at post and minor peer conflicts. (If the talk is unsuccessful, the issue will be escalated to DCLP and Garda Operations Manager)
• Control Room and Gatehouse cleanliness.
• Security Supplies and Seal inventory.
• Thermal Camera set-up daily.
  
  

Qualifications For Team Lead

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Ontario security license
• First aid level C Certification
• Must have prior Team lead experience
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
